² Then ^(A)the leaders of Israel, the heads of their fathers’ households, ^(B)brought an offering near (they were the leaders of the tribes; they were the ones who ^[a]were over the ^[b]numbered men). ³ And they brought their offering before Yahweh, six ^(C)covered carts and twelve oxen, a cart for every two of the leaders and an ox for each one, and they brought them near before the tabernacle. ⁴ Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
